Hello Brother and Sister Vincentians,

Thank you to everyone who attended the ONRC meeting in Bowmanville September 29/30. Thank you to all the presenters, to Lakeshore PC for hosting the meeting and to Jim Hogan and his team at St. Joseph Conference for ensuring we had a successful meeting. A special thank you goes to Bishop Miehm for celebrating a beautiful Mass with us, and a special thank you to Father Daniel who gave an inspirational presentation sharing insights on Innuit life in Naujaat.

SPIRITUAL MATTERS
The October reflection reminds us “Thanks be to God” . Pope Francis shared a wonderful letter to the Vincentian Family on the Feast Day of Saint Vincent de Paul.

CRA announces changes to business numbers that will affect SSVP and simplify matters.

SOCIAL JUSTICE
Our Youth are advocating for clean water for First Nations communities across Canada. You can do your part by signing the petition.

Our Society is a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Circle, a coalition formed to bridge the gap with Indigenous people. Jim Paddon is the SSVP representative that attends these meetings twice a year.
