This module gives an overview of the Society; its beginnings and history; the Canadian structure; the differnt levels and responsibilities of each level; ending with the basic unit, the conference.

The intent of this module is to give an overview of the Society; its beginnings and history; the Canadian structure; the different levels and responsibilities of each level; ending with the basic unit, the conference.
Anticipated audiences could be – new or returning members, a reorientation for existing or longtime members, a recruitment or information session.
Following this slide, the notes attached to each slide may be used in helping you with the words for your presentation. It would be helpful to also have a supply of Rule Books on hand so that members become used to referring to and using the Rule Book. Tailor your presentation as needed to the audience.
