SPIRITUAL MATTERS
The June spiritual reflection is an opportunity for us to reflect on “Ordinary time”.

Please remember to pray our Prayer for Vocations to the Vincentian Family at all your meetings praying for an increase in membership. You can print and attach to your Opening/Closing Prayer.

There is also a spiritual reflection prepared by a member of the National Spirituality Committee who is from the Atlantic region.

Check out the highlights from our 2017 Annual Report submitted to National. Please note these highlights are from the Conferences and Councils who submitted Annual Reports. There were 2 Conferences and 1 Central Council who did not submit an Annual Report this year.

FINANCE
Thank you to the Conferences and Councils who have already sent their pass up contribution for 2018. For those who have not yet provided your pass up contribution, we look forward to receiving same. Please review the letter regarding the assessed pass up amounts and the purpose of the pass ups. Please email linda@ssvp.on.ca should you have any questions on this.

YOUTH NEWS
There is a great article about the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul London Youth Conference in the May edition of Christian Life in London.

Also, if you have not already done so, you will want to read the recent edition of Vincentimes which is focused on our youth.

ONTARIO ELECTION
Remember to vote on June 7 on behalf of Ontario’s most vulnerable, those who we serve. Check out the submissions prepared by our Advocacy Committee.

I hope to see some of you in Newfoundland for the National AGA June 20 – 24. For Ontario members who will be in attendance, there will be a brief ONRC meeting the evening of Wednesday, June 20 starting at 7:30 pm. An agenda for that meeting will be shared later in June.
