Mandate:
The Rejuvenation Committee is responsible for creating resources, providing coaching (and mentoring) to councils and conferences on strategies to rejuvenate membership with new members and future leaders to build conferences capacity to serve those in need.

Activity during 2025: The Rejuvenation Committee met monthly by electronic means and completed the following activities for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2025.

• January to June 2025
  • February: presented workshop (Essential to Serving in Hope: Rejuvenation And Recruitment) to Peel PC members
  • April 2025: presented workshop (Establishing an SSVP conference) at ONRC spring assembly in Sarnia
  • Issued a newsletter in April 2025.
• We launched the newest version of this Committee with a newsletter in October. This group started work on Nov 1. We meet monthly over Zoom. We have created a 2-year plan. We have also drafted new web pages that will support our efforts. We communicated with all conferences in Ontario to invite them to join our group and to submit their ideas. We plan to reach out to them all again once our web pages are ready and to offer them any assistance. We will follow up these emails with phone calls.

Focus of activity for 2026:
Our goal is to be more proactive in getting rejuvenation committees started across the province. We are also working on a presentation for the April ONRC meeting in Stratford in April.
