from your ONRC Rejuvenation Committee

Hello there,

Blessings to all as we enter a joyful Easter season. We hope you & yours are enjoying the transition to spring.

After the Rejuvenation and Recruitment workshop by the Ontario Region's Rejuvenation Committee which you attended with us in the past, we continue to follow up to provide ongoing support and ideas for your conference, Council or special work.

One of the key elements of rejuvenating a conference is the process for welcoming in new members. In this message we share with you a sample process to do so effectively .New Member Experience. Thank you to Mary Mother of God conference in Halton Particular Council for sharing your approach. We hope this will inspire and inform the work of others across the Ontario region.

Whether you are

  • introducing the work of the Society to new or potential members, or
  • explaining our service to those who may help with that service as donors or as volunteers, or
  • seeking to (re-)energize long-time Vincentians who are working hard to support those in need,
the stories and words of others can be highly effective. So, as always, we would love to hear back from you on what actions you have taken to help rejuvenate your Conference/Council and/or to help recruit more members.
